Fight Scene Design


I have been working in animation and combat system for almost 10 years. I’m credited on several action games as an art director and finished the main character animations by myself.  I worked directly with multiple department on combat system and also designed the cinematic and in-game fighting part.

Today, I share my experiences and knowledge with you guys about cinematic fight scene design.

A good design of fight scene should be attractive and reasonable, whether unarmed or armed. Especially Chinese emphasize the context of action and form. Different style has different form and tactics. Dilettante watch the scene of bustle, adept the contents.
I’m not a native English speaker, so my English is not always perfect. Here I sum up the theoretical framework and to make it easier to understand by using GIFs and pics.
